Paul and Jacob (still learning) took care of the problem. It was the capacitor and Paul explained to me what it does. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my question. I never dealt with an ac unit as a home owner so I'd say, the price i paid was fair.

Saved our weekend! We came home on Saturday afternoon to an air conditioner blowing hot air. We frantically called the AC company that had previously serviced the unit through our HOA and they told us they wouldn’t be able to make it out until Monday. We tried all the big names and were told the same. It was a 118degree day and we have two dogs, one of which is a senior. We couldn’t make it until Monday with no AC. Luckily we called McCall’s and they were able to come out that day and got our unit up and running in no time. Not only that, but they didn’t try to upsell us, just an honest assessment of what repair was needed at an extremely reasonable price. We will be using them for all of our AC needs moving forward! It was our lucky day! One of our AC units started blowing hot air (on a 118° day) and the temperatures were rising inside. Our usual company couldn’t come out for over 24 hours and we were started to panic. While getting ready to leave the house to find some AC, we saw a McCall’s Air Conditioning and Heating truck parked out front of our neighbors. Out of desperation, I called out to Dave, introduced myself and shared that our AC wasn’t working either. I asked if he had any recommendations (circuit breaker, etc.) while we waited for our appointment the next day. He immediately offered to come over and check it out! He found the issue, resolved the issue, and had us back up and running in under 10 minutes! We were so relieved. He was very generous to spend his time helping us after his long day and we are just so extremely thankful for his kindness. Thank you again, Dave! We know who to call moving forward!
