McCall’s Air Conditioning and Heating is a family-owned and operated HVAC business proudly serving the Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Phoenix areas since 2004. We are a licensed (200740), bonded, and insured Arizona HVAC contractor and an accredited Better Business Bureau company.

Our primary focus is on high-efficiency air conditioning installation, repair, and maintenance for all brands of HVAC equipment. We also specialize in airflow, indoor air quality, and home energy analysis. Additionally, we offer a service division dedicated to new homes through our annual HVAC maintenance agreements.

Our Team
David McCall: Owner & President
David McCall founded McCall’s Air Conditioning & Heating in 2004 after spending more than a decade learning the trade from industry experts. With over 30 years of experience, he has built the company on a foundation of craftsmanship, integrity, and customer-first values.
Beyond his role as a business owner, David is a proud father of five, including two children adopted through Arizona’s foster care system. He and his wife of 25 years, Jenny, have been deeply involved in foster care advocacy since 2013. Together, they continue to volunteer their time and resources with local organizations such as Jacob’s Mission Community Center and ASA Now, supporting children and families across Arizona.
Alex McCall: Service & Sales Manager
Alex McCall graduated from Arizona State University in 2021 with dual degrees in Business Management and Psychology. Following college, he built a career as a Success Coach, earning additional certifications in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Mental and Emotional Release Therapy (MER), and Cognitive Psychology. Having grown up around the HVAC industry, Alex spent summers supporting his father, David, before officially joining the family business full-time in spring 2023. Today, he combines his background in business, psychology, and coaching with hands-on industry experience to lead McCall’s service and sales teams.
Gonzalo McCracken: Service Technician
Gonzalo joined McCall’s Air Conditioning & Heating in 2024, where he has been learning the trade through hands-on training in the installation, service, and maintenance of both residential and commercial equipment. Outside of work, Gonzalo is actively involved in his church and plays on multiple soccer teams. A dedicated fan of the UFC, he also channels his entrepreneurial spirit on weekends by running his own landscaping and irrigation services.
Jacob Ortiz: Service Technician
Jacob joined McCall’s Air Conditioning & Heating in 2025 after completing a year-long, in-person HVAC training program at UEI Trade School in Mesa, AZ. After gaining early work experience in the restaurant industry, Jacob saw HVAC as his first big step toward building a long-term career. Outside of work, he’s a passionate Celtics basketball fan and spends much of his free time either at salsa dancing classes or watching UFC with his cousin and fellow McCall’s technician, Gonzalo.
Christine McCall: Office Manager
Christine has worked alongside her brother, David, for more than 12 years, helping manage the internal operations of McCall’s Air Conditioning & Heating. As Office Manager, she ensures the business runs smoothly by overseeing day-to-day processes with both efficiency and a personal touch. Before joining the family business, Christine spent 17 years as a Nursing Assistant at the Rochester Mayo Clinic, where she developed her strong commitment to care and service.
Lizzy McCall: Dispatcher
Lizzy joined McCall’s Air Conditioning & Heating in 2025 as a morning dispatcher, where she helps manage incoming calls and supports customers with scheduling and service needs. No stranger to hard work, Lizzy also built her own hair styling business as a blonding and color specialist at Volt Salon in Scottsdale, AZ. In the evenings, she can be found serving guests at Rebel Wine Lounge, bringing the same dedication and personal touch she shows in every role she takes on.
Willow: Team Supervisor (and Chief Treat Inspector)
Willow may walk on four paws instead of two feet, but don’t let that fool you—she runs a tight ship at McCall’s Air Conditioning & Heating. As Team Supervisor, Willow makes sure morale stays high with tail wags, office visits, and the occassional request for belly rubs. She specializes in keeping the crew on schedule for treat time and ensuring everyone gets their daily dose of joy. When she’s not supervising the office, Willow enjoys long walks, chasing tennis balls, and napping in the sun—proving that a good balance of work and play is key to running a successful business.
