October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and raise funds for life-saving research. At McCall’s Air Conditioning and Heating, we believe in giving back to the community that has trusted us with their homes for decades.
Our Commitment This October
For every new HVAC system installation completed in October, McCall’s will donate $500 directly to Breast Cancer Research through our partnership with City of Hope.
City of Hope is a world-renowned leader in cancer research and treatment. Together, we’re helping fund the breakthroughs that bring hope to families everywhere.
Why Breast Cancer Awareness and Research Matters
- 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
- In 2025, an estimated 316,950 women and 2,800 men will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.
- Breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, after skin cancer.
- When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%, though in 2025, an estimated 42,170 U.S. women will pass away from breast cancer.
- Approximately 30% of all new female cancer diagnoses will be breast cancer.
- There are over 4 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.

Friends for Life Golf Event
McCall’s Air Conditioning & Heating is proud to support Friends for Life Animal Rescue, a local nonprofit committed to giving homeless and abandoned animals a second chance. Based in Gilbert, Arizona, this no-kill rescue organization has been saving lives since 1993 by providing shelter, medical care, and loving foster homes for cats and dogs in need.
Friends for Life is powered by passionate volunteers and sustained by community donations. Every animal they help receives the attention and compassion they deserve while waiting for their forever home. We believe every pet deserves a safe and loving environment, and we’re honored to partner with Friends for Life to help make that possible for animals across the Valley.
ASA Foster Love Gala Fall 2024 Event
At McCall’s Air Conditioning & Heating, we are proud to support Arizona's Foster care Community through a local organization ASA Now—a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for and assisting children and families impacted by foster care. ASA Now provides essential resources such as trauma-informed care, family support, tutoring, and life skills training to help these children thrive both emotionally and academically.
This year, we were honored to participate in ASA Now’s “$100K in 100 Days” campaign, a community-driven fundraising initiative aimed at securing vital funding to sustain and expand their programs. Thanks to the generous support of donors across Arizona, the campaign raised critical resources to continue providing services that directly impact the lives of foster and kinship families. We’re proud to share that McCall’s was one of the top donors—underscoring our commitment to giving back to the community we serve.
